T-Mobile Rolls Out Google Android 1.6 Update

T-Mobile said it will begin rolling out a Google Android update for the G1 and MyTouch 3G smartphones in the coming days.
The update also adds a Quick Search Box that lets users search across browser bookmarks and history, contacts and the Web and integrates camera, camcorder and gallery functionality. A bug that would restart the handset after dialing 911 was fixed as well.
