Apple today released an update for the iPhone, fixing three "important" bugs.
The Cupertino, Calif.-based company said new firmware, iPhone OS 3.1.2, resolves "sporadic issues" that prevents the smartphone from waking from sleep mode, interrupts the phone's network service and causes the device to crash during video streaming.
Apple said the new update is compatible with all iPhone models, as well as the iPod Touch, and available by plugging the device into a computer updating through iTunes.
Users can have access to the update simply by plugging their iPhones into their computers, followed by clicking onto the update tab in the iTunes.
