T-Mobile plans to release the Sony Ericsson Equinox, a stylish clamshell with pulsating light effects, beginning October 28.
The Bellevue, Wash.-based carrier said the Equinox offers custom light effects -- in Amber, Sapphire, Beryl, Diamond, and Amethyst colors -- notifying users when calls or text messages comes in.
It also has changing wallpaper themes to color coordinate the handset.
The handset also features a 3.2-megapixel camera that can upload videos to YouTube, FM radio with stereo Bluetooth, high-speed 3G Internet, built-in GPS and "gesture control" to reject incoming calls or silence an alarm with the wave of a hand.
"With a host of dynamic features, the Equinox is a 3G phone that reflects the mood of each individual user," said Karen Morris, Sony Ericsson's vice president of marketing.
T-Mobile said the Sony Ericsson Equinox will hit store shevles on October 28.

I ran powertop and it suggested that i disable HAL, but first I'd like to know exactly what it is that I'm disabling. So, basically, what will I lose once i disable HAL?
And, also since I'm primarily wanting to watch movies, I think that the idea of just loading it to the RAM and watching it is very appealing. Is there a tutorial for that?
Thanks everyone.
