T-Mobile plans to release the Sony Ericsson Equinox, a stylish clamshell with pulsating light effects, beginning October 28.
The Bellevue, Wash.-based carrier said the Equinox offers custom light effects -- in Amber, Sapphire, Beryl, Diamond, and Amethyst colors -- notifying users when calls or text messages comes in.It also has changing wallpaper themes to color coordinate the handset. The handset also features a 3.2-megapixel camera that can upload videos to YouTube, FM radio with stereo Bluetooth, high-speed 3G Internet, built-in GPS and "gesture control" to reject incoming calls or silence an alarm with the wave of a hand. "With a host of dynamic features, the Equinox is a 3G phone that reflects the mood of each individual user," said Karen Morris, Sony Ericsson's vice president of marketing. T-Mobile said the Sony Ericsson Equinox will hit store shevles on October 28.
