T-Mobile Suffers Outage for Some Customers

T-Mobile said some of its customers are were experiencing voice and data service outages.
The Bellevue, Wash.-based carrier said that nearly 1.7 million subscribers are affected by an outage that began at about 5:30 p.m. ET."We're making good progress restoring voice and messaging service to affected customers," said David Beigie, a T-Mobile spokesman. The outage could turn into the second black eye for T-Mobile. Last month, a Microsoft server failure temporarily wiped out the personal data of its SideKick customers.
