T-Mobile Launches Prepaid BlackBerry

T-Mobile today announced that it will sell a prepaid BlackBerry plan for $60 that doesn't require a contract or credit check.
The Bellevue, Wash.-based carrier said its new T-Mobile Complete "no contract" plans starts at $50 a month for unlimited voice with additional services costing $60 for unlimited voice and text and $80 for unlimited voice, text and Web.Over the last few years, prepaid plans have grown in popularity -- appealing to consumers who are on a budget-conscious, dislike being locked into a contract or lack the credit history to get a contract. The company offers four devices -- including the BlackBerry Curve 8520 -- to choose from. The prepaid plans are available at Best Buy and Wal-Mart locations.
