Sprint said it will launch the LG Lotus Elite, a stylish fashion phone with tattoo designs, and the Rumor Touch, a basic touch screen device with a slide-out keyboard, in the coming days.
The Overland Park, Kan.-based carrier said the Lotus Elite features its "One Click" interface -- a customizable home screen with shortcuts to favorite applications. It also features an 2.4-inch external touch screen display, so users can access applications without opening the device. The Rumor Touch comes with a large 3.0-inch WQVGA touch screen display and five-line keyboard for threaded text messaging, chat and email. Both devices include a 2.0-megapixel camera and camcorder, stereo Bluetooth, microSD card slot and access to Sprint TV, music and navigation services and social networking sites like Facebook. Sprint said the LG Lotus Elite will be available starting January 10 for $100 with a two-year contract. The Rumor Touch will be launch in the first quarter.
