Samsung today announced that the Fascinate, an Android-powered smartphone for Verizon, is now available for pre-order at Best Buy locations.
The handset will run the Android 2.1 operating system on a 1-gigahertz processor with a 4.0-inch AMOLED touch screen. It will have the ability to connect up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices through 3G wireless hotspots.
The Fascinate joins three other Samsung Galaxy S smartphones available in the U.S. -- the Vibrant for T-Mobile, Epic 4G for Sprint, and Captivate for AT&T. The Fascinate is Samsung's version for Verizon.
Samsung has still not officially announced pricing or release date for the Fascinate.
