Google today began selling a new version of the Nexus One -- its own touch-screen smartphone -- that is compatible with AT&T's 3G network for $530.

AT&T plans to sell four inexpensive messaging phones -- the Strive and Sunburst from Samsung and the Link and Pursuit from Pantech -- that has new online services to handle tasks associated with higher-price smartphones.
