AT&T today announced the availability of the AT&T 8525 Pocket PC, a re-branded and upgraded version of the Cingular 8525, now offering additional services such as AT&T Push-to-Talk (PTT), Cellular Video and AT&T Mobile Music.
Now the AT&T 8525 offers PTT service with "availability" icons, quick group-calling and the ability to easily switch a PTT session to a regular wireless voice call.

AT&T today announced the Option GT Max 3.6 Express ExpressCard; and in early May the Sierra Wireless AirCard 875U mobile broadband device for USB ports, both powered by AT&T's 3G BroadbandConnect service and able to download a 1 megabyte file in about 15 seconds on average.

AT&T today announced the availability of the Motorola M900, a mobile voice solution that enables in-vehicle communications ideal for the needs of homeland security and emergency management professionals.
The M900 is easily installed into service vehicles used by the military, federal, state and local government and emergency management agencies. A little over a year after launching its Push-To-Talk (PTT) service, Cingular Wireless, now part of the new AT&T, today gives customers the option of experiencing the service on a pay-per-use basis.

AT&T and Yahoo today launched an upgrade of their photo service. The new version is geared toward making it easier for subscribers to share photos over PCs and mobile devices.
AT&T Yahoo Photos will include features such as photo-tagging and online "playlists" of photos that automatically recognize and add tagged photos to online albums.

AT&T announced an agreement to buy BellSouth for $67 billion. AT&T currently owns 60 percent of Cingular, the No. 1 wireless carrier, while BellSouth owns the remaining 40 percent. As part of the deal, AT&T would assume full control of Cingular.
