RadioShack today announced the immediate availability of Cingular Wireless products and services in more than 5,000 convenient neighborhood RadioShack stores across the United States. This includes almost 500 RadioShack dealer / franchise outlets that are also offering Cingular products and services.

Cingular Wireless recently launched new international calling packages that make it more simple and affordable for globetrotting consumers to stay connected to family and friends around the world. Cingular's new international roaming package, Cingular World Traveler, allows customers to pack up their Cingular service and phone as they travel the world in over 175 countries and enjoy new discounted roaming rates in over 80 of those countries. Additionally, the new Cingular World Connect package provides affordable rates to over 200 countries when making international calls from the United States. Cingular also introduced new international roaming and long distance packages for Canada and Mexico.

Cingular Wireless today launched its super-charged wireless network capable of providing customers with high-speed access to information in a world that has gone mobile. Cingular Wireless and Firefly Mobile, Inc. today announced the availability of the Firefly phone, a pioneering mobile phone designed specifically for kids ages 12 and under. Cingular is the first national U.S. carrier to launch this unique voice-only phone. Firefly Mobile also announced this week that the Firefly phone was awarded the prestigious 2006 'Best of Innovations' Award in the telephone category from the Consumer Electronics Association (CES).
