Housed in a slim clamshell design, the new Motorola V360 departs from the blue-rubberized shell of its predecessors, the V330 and V300. Featuring standard utilities such as speakerphone and voice functionality, as well as Bluetooth connectivity, the V360 also adds a bit of fun.

Motorola today announced the launch of the Motorola i870, a new mobile device that combines an unprecedented multimedia experience with antimicrobial coating. The i870 blends a 1.3 megapixel camera with a video recorder, MP3 player and two-way radio. Motorola and Intel today announced their plan to collaboratively foster greater industry momentum for WiMAX and to advance the use of mobile WiMAX technology, based on the proposed IEEE 802.16e standard, for both fixed and wireless broadband applications.
Intel and Motorola plan to collaborate on specification efforts within the WiMAX Forum in an effort to ensure that network and device interoperability issues are addressed adequately.

Motorola today announced its first Voice over IP (VoIP) Open Application-Enabling Platforms and outlined plans to extend the product range in the future.
