Fujifilm announced today that Nextel is adding easy, convenient photo management that allows customers to store, share and print photos from their phones. The capabilities are based on Fujifilm's Get the Picture Mobile Service.

Nextel will deploy a wireless broadband trial based on UMTS TD-CDMA technology from IPWireless, the companies announced today. The field trial will begin during the third quarter in Washington, D.C.; Arlington, VA.; Alexandria, VA.; Reston, VA. and Bethesda, MD.

Sprint and Nextel today announced details surrounding the brand strategy and logo to be used upon completion of the companies' merger, expected in the third quarter of 2005, pending shareholder and regulatory approvals.
