Nokia today announced the world's first fully integrated, commercial Near Field Communications (NFC) handset, the Nokia 6131, which enables information sharing, service initiation and payment & ticketing capability.
Used in much the same way as existing contactless cards and keytags to allow access and make small payments, the addition of NFC technology adds a new level of capability by leveraging the Nokia 6131's computing power, wireless Internet access and user interface.

Nokia today announced a range of lightweight and comfortable Bluetooth headsets; the Nokia BH-301, BH-201 and BH-100. The three headsets are expected to be available globally in the first quarter of 2007.
Available in either a light or a dark variant, the Nokia BH-301 offeres cover colors ranging from 'pink flower' to 'deep plum.' Keeping users talking for up to seven hours or on standby for up to 200 hours, convenient keys for controlling call functions include redialing and voice dial activation.

Nokia and Yahoo Inc. said today that they were expanding their partnership and offering Yahoo services such as email and messaging on new Nokia phones.
