Nokia today announced that it has started deliveries of the Nokia N70, a compact, beautifully styled, easy-to-use 3G smartphone. Incorporating a complete smartphone feature set, as well as a 2 megapixel camera, flash and front camera for video calling, the Nokia N70 comes fully equipped with a digital music player and stereo audio.

Results announced today from one of the world's first commercial mobile TV pilots in Helsinki, Finland reveal the popularity and willingness to pay for mobile TV services, underlining the potential of this exciting new mobile application. 41% of pilot participants would be willing to purchase mobile TV services and half thought that a fixed monthly fee of 10 euros was a reasonable price to pay. Worldwide mobile phone sales totaled 190.5 million units in the second quarter of 2005, a 21.6 percent growth from the same period last year, according to Gartner, Inc.
