Nokia Supports Common Flash Storage Technology

Nokia said it and several other industry heavyweights support the creation of a common flash storage technology that removes the need for adaptors to accommodate different removable memory card sizes. Nokia Updates Mobile Map Service

Nokia said today its Nokia Maps application has been updated with an improved user interface and search functions, and a faster map download. Nokia Warns of Faulty Phone Batteries

Nokia today warned that up to 46 million batteries used in some of its cell phones could be faulty and pose a risk of overheating. The advisory applies to batteries manufactured by Matsushita from December 2005 to November 2006, the world's largest mobile phone maker said. Matsushita Battery Industrial Co.
