Nokia today announced a new Series 40 5th Edition platform, incorporating Java Platform Micro Edition (Java ME) technology and an enhanced UI that allows developers to build richer multimedia applications and services.

Nokia today announced the availability of the Nokia N95 in the United States at Nokia Flagship stores, online and through select wireless retailers. Nokia today announced the latest games and publishers for its new N-Gage mobile gaming platform. Updated software development tools for the N-Gage platform and a new testing program for SNAP Mobile's Java platform were also introduced today at the conference.
