T-Mobile USA announced today that it now has surpassed 20 million wireless customers, having doubled its customer base during the past 10 quarters.
"I personally thank our 20 million customers for their continued loyalty to T-Mobile, and for recommending T-Mobile to family and friends," said Robert Dotson, President and Chief Executive Officer, T-Mobile USA.

Nokia, the world's largest mobile phone maker, said today it has sold more than 1 billion handsets and estimated that more than 2 billion people use mobile phones worldwide.

Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc. released findings from a camera phone behavior study completed by NPD Techworld, a division of the NPD Group, Inc., revealing that 44.6 percent of participants said they have taken pictures with their camera phone that they wished they had printed. The most commonly noted reasons for not printing these images included image quality, simplicity of process and overall perceived cost.

The T-Mobile retail store, located at 400 Veterans Boulevard, is allowing area residents to place free phone calls to friends and family. The store is also able to exchange phones for T-Mobile customers whose phones were lost or damaged when Katrina hit.
