Samsung Electronics will showcase its third satellite Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) phone (SCH-B200) at MIPTV / MILIA in Cannes, France from April 11 to 15, following the release of the SCH-B100 and SCH-B130.

There's one on every flight - the one that talks up until the final seconds and needs to be reminded by flight attendants that the plane is taking off. But now, flight attendants are doing what they can to tell the FCC that lifting its ban on cell phone usage during air travel is a bad idea.

Domingo Frias-Payan, 24, and Heather Frias-Payan, 25, have been accused of duping residents in a cell phone donation charity scam spanning 41 states. Claiming to be collecting phones for battered women and the disabled, the couple has been charged with one felony count of racketeering and 11 counts of violating the Oklahoma Solicitation of Charitable Contributions Act.

Nokia CEO Jorma Ollila was criticized by shareholders claiming poor clamshell designs resulted in falling market share. Struggling most of 2004, Nokia missed out on camera and flip phones as it cut prices due to competition.

Jamster, the U.S. name of Jamba and German mobile content provider that VeriSign acquired in June 2004, has been sued for allegedly misleading young consumers into paying for expensive text messages.
The lawsuit, brought by Charles Ford, claims his daughter was lured into the service. Filed in San Diego last week, he accuses Jamster of fraud and false advertising.
