Nokia CEO Jorma Ollila was criticized by shareholders claiming poor clamshell designs resulted in falling market share. Struggling most of 2004, Nokia missed out on camera and flip phones as it cut prices due to competition.
"The style of the current models is not competitive, although they may be technically. They are clumsy and awkward," said Finnish pensioner Aarno Lutz. "Siemens has good stylish models... Samsung is a strong player in the market, too," he added, drawing moderate applause ... [Continue reading Shareholders Criticize Nokia CEO For Poor Clamshell Designs]

Samsung Electronics introduced 3D game phones (models: SPH-G1000, SCH-G100) with vibration capability. Samsung has also built in an industry-leading 1 million polygon/sec... [Continue reading Samsung Introduces 3D Game Phones with Vibration]
