Sirius Satellite Radio today announced an agreement with Sprint to offer select Sirius Satellite Radio programming. Some of the music channels being evaluated by Sprint and Sirius for the new service include new hits, classic rock, hip-hop, country, blues and soul to jazz and Broadway's best music. The new Sprint service will be available nationwide, and both companies plan to announce more specifics of the service, as well as the price later this year.

Yahoo! and Sprint today announced the launch of the first downloadable Yahoo! Sprint today introduced a pair of location-based services that will enable its customers to access driving directions and roadside assistance through a simple wireless voice call. The new services are available upon request to most Sprint customers subscribing to Roadside Rescue, which provides assistance for motorists, or to customers who use their Sprint PCS Phone to dial 411 to reach Sprint PCS Directory Assistance.

Sprint has signed Wi-Fi high-speed wireless service roaming agreements with four broadband Internet service providers and a virtual network enabler which will increase the number of Wi-Fi hotspots available to customers to more than 19,000 including extensive international connectivity.
