T-Mobile today announced it once again topped J.D. Power and Associates Wireless Customer Care Performance Study. In J.D. Power and Associates' 2005 study of wireless consumers, T-Mobile again ranked higher than all of its competitors for overall customer care performance. The study provides a detailed report card based on consumer experiences on the phone with T-Mobile customer service professionals; in-person at T-Mobile retail stores; and online at www.t-mobile.com .

T-Mobile USA has added street-level coverage maps of its wireless network. Using an 11-point rating system, users can enter an address or intersection to check maps and predict wireless coverage area outdoors.

Amid recent T-Mobile Sidekick account hackings, the Internet has surfaced with nude photos of pinup model and actress, Vida Guerra. The former loans officer turned FHM 2003 "Girl of the Year" took self-portraits on her Sidekick that was apparently hacked into and published online. And compared to previous Sidekick account leaks from socialite Paris Hilton, Ms. Guerra's are much spicier.

T-Mobile has announced the suspension of HP's iPAQ h6315 due to reports of numerous software glitches. Released last July to compete with palmOne's Treo, the iPAQ features PDA functionality with 802.11b and Bluetooth connectivity.

Sony Ericsson today announces two new mobile phones, the D750i and the K508i Twilight Black, exclusively for T-Mobile's European markets, further strengthening its relationship with this key network operator. In addition, the Z800i UMTS clamshell phone, announced earlier this month, will also be available from T-Mobile, though this will not be an exclusive agreement. Sony Ericsson will be presenting the first phase of its product portfolio for 2005, including the D750i and K508i for T-Mobile at CeBIT between March 10 and 16.

Outages plagued Danger yesterday as some Sidekick users reported no service to their email instant messaging, and other data services. The severity of the issues varied throughout a 24 hour span, however most customers reporting no issues.
