Released for Sprint, the HTC Hero is a Google Android smartphone that blends form and function. It has a bevelled edges and an angled bottom contoured to fit against the face. The handset features HTC's Sense user interface, focusing on making people the center. Users can view Facebook status updates and photos with their text messages, emails and call history in a single view. The Hero has a dedicated Search button to search through Twitter, locate people in the contact list and find emails in the inbox. Its anti-fingerprint screen and Teflon coating is offers smudge resistance. It also includes a 3.2-inch HVGA screen, GPS, digital compass, gravity-sensor, 3.5mm stereo headset jack, a 5.0-megapixel auto-focus camera and expandable microSD memory.
