This is a great phone. I had the Samsung D357 and I returned it to get this phone, and I'm glad I did! Here's the breakdown:
PROS:
GREAT speaker quality (speakerphone is incredibly loud and clear)
GREAT signal and much better than any phone I've dealt with
easy-to-navigate menus
long battery life
bluetooth
good internet
excellent PTT phone and easier to use than the Samsung
easy-to-see outside screen, even on extremely bright days
CONS:
camera is so-so, but it's a phone
no video on camera (false advertisement)
This is a great phone even if you don't use PTT. The speaker quality is the best on the market and it is a very easy to use handset.

The LG CG300 is a great phone. It's not filled with many functions and features, but has the programs I want and need. For someone not very technical, it's very easy to use.
Pros
- Small and compact
- Camera pictures come out good
- Push-to-Talk
- Bluetooth technology
- Picture IDs
- Customizeable ringtones
Cons
- Although its small, it's pretty thick
- Doesn't show Picture ID on the external screen

The Bluetooth on this phone is useless! I just bought 2 of these BECAUSE the phone has Bluetooth so I can download my address book into the phone... Problem is that the phone is only capable of printing to a Bluetooth printer and connecting to a headset - there is NO support for computer interface for downloading contacts, schedule, midi or picture files.
Other than that, it's a great feeling phone. I was in the store choosing between the CG300 and the other Bluetooth-enabled PTT phone, the Samsung D357; and, ended up choosing the LG for it's look and feel. The buttons are easier to feel and push and the camera takes pretty darn good pictures (significanly better than the Motorola phone I was getting rid of). So, rather than getting one LG and one Samsung, I ended up getting both LGs. Then to get home and discover the complete lacking of significant Bluetooth function... Thank goodness for Cingular's 30-day retrun policy or I'd be cancelling my service with them right now for false advertising.

I have both this phone and the w600i that I swap out when I have to work...the LG is my work phone. I have had it for about a week and have noticed some problems with it.
Firstly, the camera leaves much to be desired. Poor quality VGA with no video capabilities. The flash is a plus, but it doesnt bring it up to par. There is hardly any memory for storing pictures, and especially ringtones! You can only store 7 ringtones to the phone, which is sad compared to my Samsung sgh-d357 which I was loathe to give up.
Why the phone has bluetooth is beyond me, when it doesn't enable file transfer. That's half the function of bluetooth! I have yet to pair my headset with it, one would hope that it would give you better sound quality for the loss of the file transfer capability.
The biggest problems I had with the phone were the software defects. The first of which happened when I was using AIM on the phone. I was typing a message, when the screen turned black andmy phone completely froze. I had to pull the battery out to reset it. The second problem happened when I was trying to make a call. The phone would make an attempt to connect, but after a few seconds it would end and display "Network Error." Again, the battery had to be removed to reset the phone. (I've heard complaints from a few LG owners that have the c2000 model that get the same error)
In short, it's really only a good phone if you're really into having the PTT service. I would suggest going with the SGH-D357 over this phone, hands down. If you end up with this phone you'll have to suffer with poor reception and software problems.
