LG F7200 - Much better phones out there than this one
Reviewer: suncom on Fri Feb 10, 2006
I bought this phone to use in business. Big mistake. I find the menus difficult to navigate through, the buttons too small, I keep hitting two at once; but the main problem is the notification options. I am on-call for my job, and emergency information is sent via SMS. This phone has 3 hard encoded tones for SMS messages, and no vibrate option for SMS. You can mute the tones, however. This makes this phone unuseable for me. The only thing I like about this phone concerns basic telephone service - the clarity of basic phone calls are superior to my Motorola V505, volume is louder and speech is crisp. If you need this for business, look elsewhere.

this phone is terrible
Reviewer: jenn28532 on Tue Aug 01, 2006
i received an Lg F7200 on july 10, 2006 and it worked perfectly until july 21 then it started going crazy! while sitting not touching my phone at all with the key pad locked it starts dialing number repeatdley like "317***#17 or it would just sit there and having 111111111 keep coming up on there in exactly that way sometimes the numbers would fill the screen and pop up on the next screen. then it would dial voicemail, you couldn't hit any numbers at all even with the phone unlocked you couldn't except calls you could only reject calls. the only buttons that worked was the disconnect buttons.
since it was within the 30 day warranty (not even two weeks actually) i called cingular and they sent a replace phone after giving 4 different numbers to call. received that phone on july 29 then yesterday (july 31) the phone shuts itself off and doesn't come back on. i had already downloaded 3 different ringtones and also graphics to this phone and it decides not to work! well it's still under the 30 day warranty infact i still have about a week left on the warranty so withing in a 3 week timeframe this phone quits working completely.
the only good thing out of this whole situation is that cingular was very quick at responding to the delivery of new phones and refunding me all of the ringtone charges. they even let me pick out a completely different phone. take my advice do not i repeat DO NOT get an LG f7200, if anything i recommend either a nokia 6010 (had for 2 years and still going strong) or an lg c1300i (washed it on accident and now works better than ever )

LG F7200

Got this phone thinking it was going to be something special and wow was I wrong!! When it vibrates it sounds like it's going to fall apart. There are certain calls that I can't hear that great. The push-to-talk feature kinda stinks because of the beebing noise that it makes when it connects and with every time you push it to say something. The clear button is in the wrong place and very easily pushed by accident if you don't pay close attention. I guess it's really not that bad of a phone but it's a step down from my old one, which I still use quite a bit.
