After recieving the phone I was blown away. LG has fixed all of the little quirky issues that the F9100 had with the keyboard and applications. The keyboard now works with the internet and notepad and all other functions except the games and applications you might download. The speaker function is not that loud but the volume of the handset makes up for that. The phone also boasts a 4x digital zoom with the camera, but that is only after you reduce the resolution below 640x480. Being that it is a LG the ringtones are very lacking, but the amount of memory you have on the phone does allow for MP3 or polyphonic ringtones to be downloaded. The only problem that I have with the phone is not from the phone or LG's standpoint it is with Cingular. After much debate I ordered the phone sight unseen and trusted that all the functions that Cingular advertised or promised the Mobile E-mail doesn't work. Being that it is a main menu function this bothered me so I called up Cingular to see if this was just a problem with this particular phone. After spending about 2 hours on the phone with customer service I was finaly transfered to Data Support and found out that the Mobile E-mail program currently doesn't work on the phone because Cingular hasn't re-written the Mobile E-mail program to work on the LG F9200. The Data Support representative assured me that the Mobile e-mail program will be available for this phone soon but was unable to give a definite timeline. So if you are interested in this phone I would suggest that you wait a month or so for Cingular to get the Mobile E-mail function working. As soon as that is up and running this will be a great phone. But, for now this phone will have to settle for a glorified text messaging phone. All in all this is a good phone for the constant texter and when they fix the Mobile E-mail this will be an outstanding phone!
