i got my Lotus 3 days ago (10/26) and i love everything about it. Sprint's one-click system is awesome and I love the youtube app. my only quirk is battery life isn't as good as I was hoping, although I'm constantly playing with it, so maybe that's why. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone who loves to text. If you're more into the slider design, then go with the rant. It was my 2nd choice but I'm all about the flip.

I just got the purple LG Lotus yesterday and I love it. I liked it from the minute I saw it but I was not sure I wanted to get one. I never had a LG cell phone before so I was leary of the quality of their products.
WOW! I am so glad I decided to get it. It is so easy to use, and it does so much, plus it is very stylish.
Also for anyone who has never texted on a QWERTY keyboard and is wondering if it is difficult let me just say, I was shocked at how easy it is and really how much it is. I also have larger hands and fingers and I was afraid I would hit every button except the one I wanted - Not the case. I have no problems using the QWERTY keyboard; in fact I wonder how I got along for so long without one.
If your thinking about getting this phone I say go for it. Hey, you get 30 days for a return right so you might as well go for it!

The LG Lotus is definitely a cute phone, and the programs on it are very useful. I had it for maybe a few weeks, and during the second week it was acting sort of weird on me, freezing and restarting randomly, which I'm used to because I've had old phones to begin with. But then whenever I would use the camera, the whole thing would freeze, being a flip it was understandable. Then the background photo/display would start scrolling around the screen for no reason at all. I took it to the store I got it from to see if it was just a problem with MY phone, but the salesperson said she'd had 3 of the same phone returned in the last month. I was highly disappointed because I put such high hopes for this phone.
