There was a time when sprint was known for the sex appeal of their phones!!!! That time is no more, sprint has not had the killer phone in some years, the last one was possibly the toshiba vm 4050.

With that said the phone was purchased out of nessesity<spelled wrong icon_blink.gif. Me and my wife used to own vga1000 camera phones which we liked very much. My wifes phone was blanking out to where it would take the person 5-10 seconds into the phone call to finally hear her voice. And I had dropped mine on a wood floor strange enough it would come on but would not charge. So I did the battery swap thing for a week until she was sick and tired of the phone. We were still under contract and without the service plan so we were under the gun to upgrade. We payed about 95 bucks apeice for the phones.

The good
Service is bulletproof hardly a dropped call.
Screen has great clarity.
Great volume can almost use it as a speakerphone.
bluetooth headsets and connectivity is great. I just used it recently to connect to my laptop as a modem for the internet. Speed was far better than a reg 56k modem but not as good as my dsl.
very useful voice commands.
Downloaded ringtones sound great almost like real and very loud
vibration is good. even after a year when my last few phones vibration had gotten progressively weaker over its age.
easily upgradable software by vision internet.

The bad
not so good bluetooth range, lots of static and echo when placing the phone in your pocket while using a headset.
Bluetooth internet connection doesnt disconnect properly causing the phone to go haywire on freeways. (reset only by removing the battery)
no obex push for bluetooth so you cant share pics or ringtones among other phones or the computer.
1mb memory- memory isnt pricey 3mb would have been great
would have also been nice to have a buetooth sms; so you can chat across a room.

The Ugly
delicate painted surface
delicate slider
camera sux!!! camera sux!!! camera sux!!! to much jpeg compression and shutter too slow causing almost all shot to be blurred .

I had this phone for a little over two weeks now. I go a great deal on it. I got it at the Sprint store and they matached a 3rd party offer of $19.99 for the phone and free belt clip, car charger and earbud, but I opt for the upgrade on the earbud and got the EarWaveBoom by Jabra for $15.00.

The phone is a slider which not only is different, but I like it better. Not as treckie looking I guess.

The batt lasted for two days the first two days, and this was with me constantly playing with it to learn all its features and setting it up.

The screen is pleanty big enough ~ no problem reading anything on it.

It rings loud enough on its highest setting, even in a load enviroment. I just wish there were free ring tones out there for this phone.

There is no MP3 player, but I did not want a phone for that, I have an MP3 player.

The cam is OK, but I did not pick this phone for the cam, I have a digital cam as well. You know the saying, if you want a cam, buy a cam, not a phone. lol

I picked the phone because of it's Bluetooth. Currently, Sprint does not have much to pick from on Bluetooth phone, without going to the high price range.

Overall ~ If you want a good PHONE, I would pick this one hands down - providing Sprint has good coverage in your area, it does for me.

I got this phone on a trial basis, and I can't wait to get another one!

First of all, the slider thing might be an interesting idea...to bad they couldn't make it work better. If you're not carefull, you can accidentally close it and end your conversation. I have to hold it in such a way that my thumb is always on the top of it to keep it from sliding shut.

It's very uncomfortable against your ear, and if you don't get it in just the right spot, you can't hear a thing.

...and what kills me the most as an experienced texter, is the text messaging. I'm used to the space being the "0" button. It's the "#" on this thing! I'm constantly putting a "0" where I want a space!

If I want to use the T9 word funtion, I have to hit the right funtion button, scroll down to "T9," and select it....EVERY time I want to write a message! If I'm in a long chat with someone, this drives me insane! On most DECENT phones, you hit the "#" or another button two or three times and it quickly switches to T9 with much less hassle. Not on this thing.

...and the ultimate in stupidity? Trying to insert an aposterphe in the T9 funtion. The phone wants to automatically capitalize the following letter after any punctuation, so you have to hit shift ("*") twice to go back to lower case, or else your word looks something like this: Don'T, isn'T, you'Ve, hasn'T... Of course, this is only a pain if you actually bother using punctuation.

I'm getting another phone very soon, and I'll be taking this thing out for target practice! I wonder how many peices a .45 will blow it into??

Don't get phone!!!

its a great phoneive had mine for about 2 or 3 weeks its great except the bluetooth if u want to JUST use a headeset with it then its fine but it cant sync with ur computer or even talk to it (ok so it can talk to your computer but it just uses your computer like a head set with the audio coming out of the speakers and you having to use a microphone to talk) its pointless. still a pretty good phone i would recomend it more for teens than anyone else but good phone i icon_heart.gif it.

From the looks of the2previous reviews... they sent a review after having the phone only a short period of time. It was pretty nice to me too when I first got it .

this phone does not recognize anyone's name in my phonebook for one..so when they call, I dont recognize who's calling because it displays the number instead of the name . The screen constantly freezes..

The sliding function's ball bearings get loose or jammed and the Equipment Protection Program from Sprint will NOT cover it .

The picture quality of the cam is horrible .. never clear no matter what light u're in .

The end button gets stuck and doesnt want to end calls sometimes either .. this has never been wet and I take pretty good care of my phone ..

Someone warned me not to buy LG phones that they're all horrible but I gave it a shot anyways and they let me down.l

The LG PM-325 is a gift from the heavens. I see no problems with mine, and i know other customers will not either. The only concern i think i might have is about the slider. It is very sturdy and durable but will this last for years to come. I hope it does because this phone puts a amile on my face whenever i see it in the morning. The high-resolution display is outrageously excellent, not to mention the other cool features this little heavenly cell phone has. Bluetooth is a big thing these days and yes this phone is enabled; you can also download all kinds of wack gams, ringtones, screensavers, and all those other techy stuff that cell phone geeks like myself enjoy doing. icon_smile.gif Overall i have no problem with the phone, it sends text messages, you can use the phone (make calls)without opening the slider, just activate the keypad, its great yall, i would recommend getting this phone in an instant it is simply the best, better than all the rest, by far.
