i got the rumor yesterday as an "upgrade" from my Sanyo 8300 so my review will be based on comparison between the two.
I am a text junkie so the sliding QWERTY was something that i was very excited about. It feels very comfortable in my hands. The only thing i dont like about the keyboard is that there is not a set of navigation keys. Also this doesnt bother me but a few people didnt like that there was a function key for symbols such as ",.:' etc.
The screen is large and has a vivid display
There are dedicated Messaging and Contact keys on the main display.
The navigation keys can be customized for applications that you use the most.
The Rumor comes preloaded with demo games and ringers that are more than just a few notes.
Another thing that i also like is the automatic key lock, which can be turned on or off.
Overall i like this phone the call quality is great i can hear people on the other line with extreme clarity.
So far the only thing the Rumor doesn't have compared to the 8300 is a flash for the camera and a few other adjustments that can be made to the photos.
This phone is great for teens because it has endless possibilites to be customized, and for people who text alot. Its a great phone and i love the color, ive always wanted a black phone!
