Released for Sprint PCS, the LG VI-5225 delivers style and simplicity. Designed in LG's clamshell silhouette, the VI-5225 takes the idea of compact cell phones to new levels with a hidden, internal antenna and the thickness of only one inch. Additionally, the VI-5225 weighs a little more than three ounces. It has an impressive array of high-end features you'd expect to find on a more expensive phone, at a fraction of the price.

This was my first cell phone and I am very glad I chose this phone to be my first. This phone is very compact, light and small, but still has a large LCD screen and the keypads are also big enough. The hooker for me to get this phone was that it has external caller ID, because most flip phones at Sprint don't.
I do have a couple of complaints about the phone, but they are minor. The phone came with no games, just a sample of Solitaire, but you have to download the entire game in order to play it. Also, I was a bit disappointed in the ring tones on the phone. There is a variety, but all of them seem to either be classical music or really annoying. Another thing is the interal antenna. While I think 90% of the time, I have great reception and it wouldn't be any better with an external antenna, there is still that 10% of the time where it would be helpful to have an external one.
All in all, this phone is great! I love the colors, the layout, the different styles/colors you can add to the menus. Also, the 'icon' main menu style is FABULOUS and very 'high tech'. Great phone!
