Motorola i710
Reviewer: McGirk on Mon Jan 15, 2007
I've had the i710 for close to a year. it performs well for what it is, a phone. I live on the web, ESPN.com gives me football updates a full day before you can get them in the newspaper. By giving up the exterior display you lose exterior access to the DirectConnect, but gain a phone that is much more solid then the i730 which is nearly identical except for color and display. If you are looking for a phone as a phone without a lot of the extras it is a good choice.
Cons:
Reception is not as good as newer or older Nextel phones, common from all of the first line of 'Falcon' phones (i710, i730, i530 etc)
Battery is lousy, after only a year of use it's life is half of new specifications.

Reviewer: NEXTELover789 on Sun Dec 11, 2005
Iv'e had this phone for about 4 months and its been great. The sreen is good although it not very bright or large, the games a very fun and adictive. This phone is very a tractive in fact i got this phone over the i730 because of the look, in doing so i sacificed having an external display, now ive gotten over the looks of the phone and want an external display so i just ordered the new i760(great phone from what I've see). I also did a review for that phone, cheak it out here
I would highly rcomend this phone to anyone whos not lookin for a expensive advanced phone like the i930 or i870 and who wants a great phone for there money

I710 Nextel
Reviewer: peanut_1985 on Sun Jan 09, 2005
I use to have Boost mobile for a good 3 MO, which they run off of Nextel. So there was no second thinking, to go with a real Nextel. I bought the I710, it very good phone. I have mobile Internet on it a little slow. I have few games on it, which i play when I am on the go. Only thing that bad about the phone is that the GPS does not work very good , and that it somewhat of a heavy phone, other wise it a great phone. Coverage is great, In Michigan there town call Bath, my phone had full coverage. I have the free incoming call plan, which for me made it a easy choice to make it my main phone. Only thing I don't like about Nextel is that Sprint might be buying them, so in till future noticed Nextel is great choice, and I710 is a great phone.
