After playing with my V3t like a xbox 360 for up to 4 days, I pretty know the all gadget. like I said the V3t is the best Razr phone for tmobile out now. the feel, look, of the material on the phone is completely new and fancy. The color of the phone is Metalic black, but the square box surrounding the external screen is even blacker, so when the external displays lights off it completely looks dark in that area, but NOT the all phone. alright enough talk and into the features iv learned!
Camera - 1.3 Megapixel, 8x zoom (nice), portrait size is pretty big, nice for myspace or facebook. like I said in part one. The phone has many options for taking a picture. one option you can activate by pressing down in the arrow kew is the exposure. what that does is it provide more brightness in the camera or you can dim it +1, +2 or -1, -2.. the other options you can activate by pressing up on the arrow key, which is the lighting effects. it offers Sunshine (Redish background, cool!), Cloudy (Still red, I was hoping for a back & white display), Indoor Home (this one is weird because you can see alittle pink into the background can get alittle annoying), Indoors Office (samething as indoors home), night mode (this one has no pink effect into it, only problem is it moves slow to get picture into place so to take a pic you would need to move it carefully wait bout 2-3 seconds then snap away), and finally Automatic ( recommend this one, picture clarity is perfect!!!!!!!!) oh and if you want to go to zoom that would be your first option offered when you activate the camera.
Mp3 - Now this is the one that I really want to talk about. The cingular's version of the phone (V3i) comes installed with a Itunes software, so for those of you that has an ipod (Who doesn't?) it would be easier to transfer your songs into it. now for the Tmobile users you are left with a Digital Audio Player (Motorola's mp3). It's easy to learn how to add music into your cell-phone. In the cell-phone box comes a v3t guide that would explain you the all process which is really easy to understand. in short terms just connect your usb goto "my computer" look for the removable drive. then goto mobile -audio and drag your music file into there. you can probably grab it from limewire, kazaa, bearshare, or whatever source you used. what I did was I went to myspace and downloaded the songs of my choice to "My documents" from there I dragged it into the Audio folder of the phone (remember to have usb while connected!). now im sure all of you have questions on can it be added as a ringtone, well YES! .. what you do is after downloaded all your songs into the phone go back to main screen and access menu. then goto fun & apps folder. goto sounds (which would display all songs downloaded to your memory card (Sd card) you can hear them if you like, it's a shortcut to the digital audio player, but to hear it you must keep the phone open and can't touch no key; doing so would stop the song. now find the song you like select it then goto menu and goto move, move it to the phone memory. this process can take bout 40 sec's to a minute. after doing so locate the song in your ringtone list which can be found in settings and ring styles. WARNING! once added to phone memory you can't add it back to the memory card (meaning you can't hear it in the mp3, only at the ringtone section). after adding it to the phone memory go there and add it as your ringtone...... the mp3 is real sharp on the v3t and gives you options for playlist, artist names and all of those feats to sort out your list.
Voice notes - you can record your voice in a message don't know how long but after finishing you have a choice to send it to one of your contacts only, you can't save it to your phone. with my ex-phone (a nokia) I had the option to save it for phone memory.
Video Recorder - with the added memory card the V3t can record pretty long up to 21 sec, 30 sec, sometimes even 40 seconds, depends on the memory you have and space available.
Call Volumes - Pretty nice in this one no complaints from me at all. and the other audio options for ringtone, speaker, keypad, call, alarm clock it all gives you up to 7 ( like all moto's) Audio is great!
Reception - haven't got no bars yet, all 5, 4 3, sometimes 2! wait let me not jinx! lol
Overall phone - Display is nice and sharp, phone is installed with 3d graphics for games, umm it's a pretty nice upgraded phone!!!! i recommend for all Tmobile users to get it and enjoy it! IM COMPLETELY SOLD ON THE MOTOROLA RAZR V3t GO GET IT!!!!!

Just got the phone this morning from ups and waisted no time in opening the box. the Razr V3t looks beautiful on the outside with a revamped style than the other V3's.. people who like fashion or just a hot style (who wouldn't?) would like the phone! the external screen is a little pinch bigger than the v3's external screen and also displays 65,000 colors (v3 displays 4,000). another thing I noticed was that it has a 1.3 megapixel camera, NOT a 1.23 megapixel (don't let that confuse you). the camera is really sharp and gives you many options for many lighting effects (sunshine-makes the display redish, cloudy(i thoigh it would make it black and white but still red?! ) and indoors home, offices and a night mode. besides the camera it has a Mp3 player that I have not tested yet, i'll cover that in my part 2 review later on. overall the phone got a make over and even inside offering you some new themes and skins that makes the phone look cool. it's installed ringtones are an upgrade from the v3's, giving you some that are longer and even has a voice singer in the background (gives you that mp3 feel to it). besides that the phone comes included with a 128 mb SD card, but if you want more memory it's ok you can go ahead and buy a 1GB SD card if you like (try ebay), but that's better then nothing! I like the phone so far I can't stop touching it. after i learn how to add the mp3's and put it to ringtone form and some other feats i'll write part 2!

Okay, I have the V3t, which is only an upgrade from the RAZR you are talking about here and boy ohh boy do I have problems with it. I've owned many cell phonee in the past, Nokias, Motorolas, Samsungs etc, and I still do not understand why they put a real glass lens on the cover of the RAZR. This is the second time I have to get that stupid glass replaced because it's smashed. Luckily the LCD display below the lens is still functioning (thank god!) or else it would cost me 7 times the price to fix it everytime it breaks. The first time I dropped it, which caused it to break into three pieces on the upper right side. The second time, I don't even know what I did, because I just took it out of my pocket and it looked like someone punched it. I dont remember hitting it anywhere, nor dropping it.
Why not have put a plastic lens instead, like most other phones on the market today? And on top of it, the lens is perfectly flat (not concave up as with most clamshells) which makes it even more prone to shatter! Ohh, and by the way, the outer lens on the V3t is about 1/3 larger than the previous RAZR's (the M logo is incorporated into the lens & lights up), which again, since its bigger, makes it even more prone to shatter.
So, in a nutshell; beautiful phone, nice features, but poorly constructed. Obviously, not perfect!
Oh yea, if you're in my situation and you have a RAZR with a cracked up lens, just go on ebay, you can find replacement lens for 5$ (non-OEM) and 12 (OEM) to replace it. ))))
