Nice phone, except for me, it was an upgrade from a v635. Unfortunately, I was led to believe it had memory upgrade capability and FM radio. Well it doesn't and the MPT software v5, as well as my original MPT doesn't work. You can drag and drop files to the phone, providing you have the correct drivers installed. I did run into a problem loading pictures where the phone locked up which caused me to delete all the files I was able to store, then I was able to reload some of them back. I think without software you end up storing them in the phones' limited memory instead of the extended memory. You have the option to move files around, but if they are stored in the phone's memory there is a issue. As far as the phone itself, it looks great and the mp3 player function is by far an improvement over my old v635. The camera is also better. I read somewhere Verizon's V9 might have more options, but my T-Mobile V8 works well. I am amazed how various providers will sell the same phone, that's modified slightly different than other providers to lure new subscribers. I guess "buyer beware," comes to mind? Check around 1st! FWIW.
