Released for T-Mobile, the Motorola Renew was designed for eco-conscious users with calls as their number one priority, providing nine hours of talk time, CrystalTalk technology and messaging capabilities. All materials inside are printed on 100 percent post-consumer recycled paper, which means 20 percent less energy is needed to create the phone. In addition, a postage-paid recycling envelope in box makes it easy to return a previous mobile phone for recycling at no cost.

- Made from plastics comprised of recycled water bottles, which means 20 percent less energy is needed to create the phone compared to standard plastic processes
- Plastic phone housing is 100 percent recyclable, which promotes future environmental responsibility
- Through its alliance with Carbonfund.org, Motorola offsets the carbon dioxide required to manufacture, distribute and operate the phone during its lifetime through investments in renewable energy sources and reforestation
- The reduced packaging size and in-box materials are printed using vegetable-based inks on 100 percent post-consumer recycled paper
- An in-box postage-paid recycling envelope also helps users easily return their previous mobile phone for recycling and contribute to environmentally responsible efforts
