Motorola V325i User Reviews

I have had my phone awhile and I really like it. I get awesome reception and my calls are crystal clear.
The phone eats up the battery charge and the speaker phone is not very loud but on a 1-10 scale I'd give this phone an 8.
It does not "freeze" up and I have had no problems,Infact on the internet this Motorola V325I is super fast!

I'm very happy with this phone. I've had cell service for about 20 years and could never get good reception where I live. I recently had a LG6100 that worked really well but I still couldn't use it at home. I bought the 325I because my old battery was getting tired and the company would pay for the new phone. I chose the 325I because it supported analog as well as digital and I often travel where there is no digital signal. I also got it because the GPS feature looked interesting. Battery life is not best but OK. There is an extended battery available. 1130mah

Well, the 325I outperforms aything I've had before. It gets great reception without the antenna extended . and even better extended. Extended adds about 2 bars to the signal when I'm in a bad area.

The big surprise is the VZ navigator/GPS function. I was expecting poor reception, slow response times and low accuracy. This thing is just the opposite! I've had PC based GPS systems over the years but they were cumbersome. Paying $400+ for a dedicated GPS was an option but it would take space when travelling and I have a convertable so I'd have to remove/hide the GPS every time I stopped. With the GPS in the phone I don't have those problems. You can get a map of where you are. You can get turn by turn directions from here to there. You don't have to download regions . it happens as you travel automatically. The phone speaks in a clear and loud voice and tells you how many miles/feet until the next turn. It warns you to stay right or left. The best thing is that it tells you to "turn right on South Strees in x miles . then it says turn just as you approach the turn!. If you make a wrong turn or take a shortcut the GPS will recalculate a route really quick. It has always got me where I wanted to go. As an added feature you can get lists of local attractions . such as resturants/chinese/withing 5 miles. And it gives the address, tel, price range . and can call for you.

The phone does not have a lot of bells and whistles such as MP3. It is a great performing phone that is ideal for reliable communication and travel directions. Couldn't be happier. Cool blue ring light!

I have had this phone for a year and a half. It has excellent reception and overall it is an okay phone, but I, too, have not had good luck with the battery life. Currently, if I talk once or twice during the day for 5 to 10 minutes, the battery dies. What am I to do?
