Home run!

Reviewer: jonesbm on Sun Nov 12, 2006

I have owned many phones, and many different Motorola's. This one, I think with a couple of minor exceptions, is the best that Motorola has done. Here's what I have found in using the phone:

PROS
very bright screen (can see easily in any lighting)
great signal strength/reception
must faster than normal Moto UI
EDGE
MP3 player that ISN'T iTunes!
micro SD slot (I have a 1 gig card)
feel of phone (like that of Nextel)
call quality is GREAT
speakerphone is EXTREMELY LOUD and crisp (no distortion at all)
PTT
IM's are very fast without much drag at all (I use MSN)
battery life is incredible

CONS
camera is only 0.3 mp, but is still quite good for that
video is very slow and grainy (because of camera quality)
no "smart key" like on other Moto's (replaced by PTT key)
no automatic voice commands/dial like on V3i; must program voices

OVERALL
This phone is overall just great. If they could add a better camera/video quality, this phone would be the best on the market. And I hate it when people complain about it being "bulky"....so are MOST phones on the market regardless of carrier. It is, after all, a PHONE, not a piece of paper! It feels great in the hand (rubber accents are wonderful) and is very user friendly with great features, the best speakers on the market (both earpiece and speakerphone), signal strentgh/reception is great, and it is very fast (faster than other Moto's). Overall, this phone gets a 9.5 out of 10 (only because of camera being 0.3 mp instead of 1.3 or higher like on other Moto's coming out). GREAT job Motorola!

moto v365

Reviewer: kmom on Sun Jul 01, 2007

I liked my v365 til I couldn't locate the mp3 player. Seems as my phone is not the same as other 365s and doesn't has "digital audio player" in the games/apps. My handbook is even different than the one on the motto site. The demo on the site that shows how to access the mp3 player is not like my phone but the others displaying "digital audio player" under games. I only have "playlist" inside my "sounds" area but how in the world do I know what to do with it if I don't have directions in my user manual? All it says is playlist at the end of my ringtones. I think I got a reject phone. icon_mad.gif Way to go on the advertisement for this one. This is mt first and last moto.
