Motorola V60i - Simple phone - Not up to date
Reviewer: Rhyzome on Tue Jun 28, 2005
I got this phone to replace a worn out StarTac 7867. My first V60i was doa out of the box. Second one kept loosing presets/user set parameters. As a newer phone than my StarTac, I expected some up to date features. This phone can't even do polyphonic ringtones. But if you have the patience, you can enter and save new monophonic ring tones from/through the phone key pad.
The controls are what you'd expect from moto, the screen was clear
but the contrast controls were corse IMHO. If the phone is free it's not
a bad basic phone. But if you want a few "bells and whistles", I'd
strongly suggest a different manufacturer/phone. I had been a hard core moto user (loved my Startac) but I opted for a Samsung 660.
