I have had my v635 for 4 weeks now, I purchased on eBay and it is unbranded and unlocked. My provider is Cingular here in Georgia.
The phone is very solid, has outstanding reception compared to my MPx220 and a v551 that I was borrowing. I have a v620 which I have loaned out - it is also a solid performer when compared to the v635.
The Data Speed with EDGE technology is good, but it could be better - but that maybe a network issue rather than the phone.
It does have BlueTooth and I have had no problems using my bluetooth earpiece with it or partnering it with my PocketPC. Works as it should in this regard.
The phone is rather heavy and has a very solid feel. The push of the buttons is the best yet. Screen color is Beautiful, very dynamic.
I spend most of my day in my truck, so I have a Motorola handsfree kit and the cradle that fits the vXXX series. I have had no problems at all with the handsfree. I use a 3 watt booster, connected between the cradle and external antenna, so I have great reception in rural areas. But when using the phone by its self in rural areas, I have had a few dropped calls.
One of the nicest features is the name search ability in the phonebook. Instead of jumping to the first name with that letter, you can actually spell out the name or first few letters and get closer to the number you are looking for. This is similar to the MPx220, but was not an option on the v551 or v620 I have used.
Camera is decent and having the TransFlash storage card gives ample memory for pictures. I have not used the MP3 player, so I can not comment on the available song storage ability.
Wallpaper - I was able to download some different wallpapers from the Moto site. Connecting the phone to the PC, I was able to modify some of the Wallpaper files and upload some of my own.
Reservations...because the phone is unbranded and unlocked, it is not a simple task to get all of the features working. I found the GPRS settings posted online for Cingular - that was easy...MMS settings I found on the v551 purchased from Cingualr and now it works well. The headache was the cryptic voicemail notification that arrived anytime I checked my mail. I was able to correct this using P2Kman and XVI32, but figuring out the correct buttons to change was a bit confusing and if you mess up, you can render the phone useless.
Overall - this is a great phone - I plan to use this one for a while. It exceeds my requirements for signal strength and sound quality / loudness. It is feature packed and has some cool games. If you can figure out how to do some basic editting of the SEEM files, you can really get a great phone. But if you are the least bit unsure about editing software, I would look at a different model.

I've always used Motorola phones ever since i got a cell phone back in 1996 and I must tell you Motorola never disappointed me. Now i bought a V635i 3weeks ago and it's more than I expected especially the new features like surfing the web and making and uploading mp3 ring tones I love this feature the most. I made over 15 mp3 ringtones and have them on the phone. The Speaker phone is clear and so is the mic capability. Would I recommend this phone to anyone ? Yes without hesistation. Motorola Fan Forever.
