A few months ago I upgraded from the TDMA network (which was satisfactory in coverage) to the GSM network using Nokia 3100's. I was told that the GSM network had greater coverage and better signal strength compared to the old TDMA network.
Well, shame on me for not cancelling within the first month (when they give you the easy option). I have had nothing but trouble with GSM/AT&T. I get dropped calls where I didn't before, I get broken coversations, and the coverage is not as good as the TDMA. When I called customer service... they say that they suspect the phones to be bad (I think probably not because both phones react the same way).
I think the biggest slap in the face is when I'm in the grocery store. There is NO way I could make a call inside the grocery store. But low-and-behold... here's verizon customers walking up and down the isles taking and placing calls.
I am fed up with AT&T. Shame on me for staying with them (I was being a cheap bastard and went for the cheapest service I found with 3 lines).
Next time, I am going with Verizon all the way!!
