I've had my 6010 for over 5 years now and, like the Energizer bunny, it keeps going and going.

Mind you, there have been many times I've been tempted by something "sexier" - camera, clamshell, etc. But, having now bought other models and manufacturers for family members (and replaced them at least once); I'm sticking to my 6010.

It ain't pretty, but it gets the job done every time.

This has got to be one of the best and most stable of all cell phones. It may be basic in what it provides, but what did i buy the cell phone for other than to send and receive phone calls. The phone book is very nice and easy to work. The battery life is one of the best. The meeting function is great to have along with the reminders and alarm. For a phone, it offers me more than i need. It just so happens it has been dropped several times and it keeps on going like if it never was dropped or more like the energizer bunny. What can i say except this is one of the greatest phones i can find even in todays market and from what i have been told now i am trying to find another one is that they are discontinued.

Like as expected a good product is made and the company stops making it. If you still have a choice for a solid phone this is the one to get. Especially since it usually is free with a service plan.

Hope this helps you with your decision. This is a 5 star phone in my book.

If you want a phone, the Nokia 6010 can't be beat.
Best speaker and headset volume (loudest).
Best reception
Keys light up and can be seen in the dark
The little rubber button on the back keep it from slipping off the dash while I use the headset.
I have a Nokia 6200, 3100 and 3120 and always come back to the 6010.
It's a real workhorse!
The only thing I wish it had was bluetooth!
I don't need a camera or web browsing (although it will do the web stuff).
I had to buy Susteen Datapilot and their cable to sync the address book and upload ringtones, etc, however.

I agree with the user above. The 6010 is a boring and not worth the original price tag. It's a nice design phone but you get bored with it after while. The reception isn't the greatest either. I got a lot of dropped calls on this phone. Maybe it was the phone itself but it's a nice phone for someone that is new to the cell phone business that doesn't want too much on their phone

This phone was exactly that. Just a phone. Being the cell phone obsessed teen I am, I found it extreamly boring after the first day or so. This was my first cell phone so it was exciting to begin with, of course, but after a while, it can be very unentertaining.

There is nothing terribly good about it, yet there is nothing terribly bad as well. For example, it isn't the smallest phone, but it is pretty light. Of most Nokia phones I have seen, this one had the worst screen quality. It was just, Ew. But, if you are someone looking for a plain ol' phone, this will probably do just fine fo you. When I received this phone, it was through a free online offer with T-Mobile, but if you can get a different phone for free, with more features, you might as well.
