I've had the phone now for about four days in the US on TMobile. Overall my impression is that this is the best phone on the market. As a business user who is on the phone for hours a day, I've been through four of the new ones in the last month trying them all out (Sony Ericsson T68i, Motorola T720, Samsung SGH-105). The reason I like this phone is that it does many things reasonably well, and does certain key things very well--like sound great and have decent volume. While it does not have Bluetooth, it does sync to Outlook (unlike Samsung), has IR (unlike T720), a pretty good battery life (lasted a full day), and performs well software wise (unlike the T68i). The phone is not perfect, however, and the main drawbacks are the size and shape. While small, it is a little difficult to hold in the hand and press the buttons. Also, the volume needs to be louder as I often can't hear it ring while walking down a street. Plus the menu system could use some more customization by users who would like quick access. Lastly, the phone headset is proprietary. Overall I don't find that I use any fancy functions such as a digital camera and I don't need them. What I require first and foremost is a phone that works well and is reliable! In this regard the Nokia 6100 is, in my opinion, one of the best bets for business users and will be around as a popular model for some time to come.
