The Nokia 6670 is based upon Symbion 7 platform (Series 60) and actually have a lot of advantages compared to other phones available today. As I do graphics and media on a professional level and are living as self-employed, it's a keen factor that my phone delivers a wide range of specific features to help ease my communication towards others.
The only issue that I actually miss, is a "professional" phone without camera and other toy factors, due to that I concentrate on a top-knotch display, weight and dimensions (I like to have my phone on my pockets without the irritation of the size).
Due to my field of work, I work on Apple Computers and it is therefore very important, that my phone can communicate with these.
Earlier phones:
Nokia 2110i, Nokia 6010, Nokia 6110i, Nokia 6150, Nokia 6210, Siemens S40, Siemens S35, Siemens S45, Ericsson 355, Sony Ericsson T610, Sony Ericsson T630, Sony Ericsson K700i.
Pro's:
a)The communication skills from this model is very nice (Email, SMS, MMS handling). You'd be surprised how well it works in this manor.
b) Contact handling is soooo nice. Groups handling couldn't be better as well.
c) Internet (Yeah, real http browsing) and WAP has been developed to the better as well.
Con's:
a) Bluetooth is working with no problems on the Mac.
b) Although the syncronisation with the Mac is a bitch, this isn't to blame on Nokia, but Apple itself and iSync 1.6 will support this model.
c) A big bug on this model, is connecting to the web via GPRS and high speed data: You simply have to turn the 6670 off and on for it to accept the dataconnection from the Mac. otherwise you'll recieve a message that tells you that a "Serial RFCOMM Port couldn't be found and might be busy"...? This is an error from Nokia and they have released a new firmware that actually fixes this problem.

This phone seemed to have missed some details that business(wo)men want in a cellphone.
(1) Your text messages come in with only the sender's name readily seen.
For busy people who keep a lot of messages in their inbox, I would have appreciated it if my messages in the inbox showed also the time, date, and a portion of the message before I actually open it. In this way, I would not be wasting time opening these messages again in case I forgot which message from the same sender contained the information I need at the moment. Businesspeople communicate constantly/repeatedly, y'know, and it is common to have many messages from a single person in our inboxes.
(2) Lack of auto-update of sender info in the inbox.
Picture this: I receive a message from a new business partner. Naturally, I save his number. I go back to inbox and wonder, "Why on earth is his message still labelled by his number and not by his name?".
(3) I wish you had cooler pre-installed sounds.
(4) How about a lens cover for that awesome camera? I place my cellphones on various surfaces. And this phone caused me unnecessary anxiety whenever I pick it up again to check for scratches. (NOTE: I lost my N6670 but somehow, I was glad I did :>)
(5) Is it just me, or are the memory cards that go with this phone easily corrupted? This phone is the business version of the N7610, right? My memory card got corrupted after only 2months of use. My friend's MMC, who owned a N7610, also got corrupted after a comparable period. Poor MMC quality control? I lost a lot of valuable video thanks to that @X!?# MMC!
(6) I wish the software that comes with this phone did not take up too much space!
I did not bother installing the software coming with this phone coz it requires a big chunk of my computer's memory (It requires at LEAST 250MB of free disk space)! My cellphone is NOT my world y'know! I wished Nokia chopped this software up into smaller programs so that each program would not require too much disk space and I could install only those that I will need.
Not recommended for true businesspeople. I am glad I lost this cellphone. That gave me an excuse to buy a different model >.
