Unlike the other dwd said Nokia is from finland.
and you can use both music player and game at same moment, actually you can even view movies on your ngage
Now as for my review:
my previous phone was a T610 I liked it a lot... so what do I like more bout Ngage and what do I miss.
Pro:
-Ngage has got a larger display, better quality
-Can watch movies on Ngage
-Can use mp3's as ringing tone
-expandable storage capacity (32 mb standard)
-Radio (though I dont use it)
-Really 'fun games (which you can acquire from kazaa... )
-Great expandibility (lots of apps compatible) Game boy emulator etc
cons:
-Its BIG
-Ppl laugh at you when your calling ...(you have to hold the tlephone in a very awkward position =>looks like your calling with a sandw.) I try to take calls as much with my headset as possible.
-Cant take pictures ... no built in cam
-Battery time is very low when playing games or watchin movies
-Hard to get a connection set up with PC
Review:
I love me Ngage I travel a lot by train and it's tons of fun watchin south park or jackass on my ngage... (I get a lot of attention with it to sometimes).
As for the movie part I use PVauthor to encode my movies tot mobile format ... it's about 1mb / minute in decent quality.
I found the software hard to install ... had lots of troubles getting it to connect via bluetooth.
Although you get a usb cable with your ngage you must use bluetooth to communicate with your phone ... the usbcable is used for MMC only (music player/ file management).
As for normal phone usage its as good as any other phone.

I just Got one of these n-gage phones. So far I'm not entirely impressed. The games are nice. The screen is nice. The internet functionality is nice but must have some of the t-mobile settings on it had to get opera mini because it wasn't like connecting to anything when i would search fomr something in the program. The Phone is Extremly Odd to hold up to head and talk. Extremly Poor Battery life I'd Trade not having the features It has that the qd doesn't to try out the battery life is supposed to be a little better. Driving down the road calls just drop in areas where coverage should be fine. other 2 phones I have get almost full bars in my work building. it gets good signal right outside the building but can't make it hold a call in most parts of my building here at work. never had problems with the other 2 phones I have a nokia 3300 and sony ericsson t290a. There might be something wrong with my n-gage though. The radio/loudspeaker is loud the speakerphone is better than the 3300 the radio/mp3 loudspeaker blasts really loud. maybe a bit less quality than the nokia 3300. you can hear the speakerphone in the car just fine. nice and loud. Picks up radio stations clearer and more stations with the earbud headset as my nokia 3300 (have 2 different headset sfor n3300 and still n-gage radio seems to have better reception) I give this phone a b or b+ grade I guess I think tho my phone might have reception problem or i would probably think more higly of it. probably more of a service issue than anything. A decent "upgrade" from a nokia 3300 phone. has same features and then some.

Pros::
+ N-gage games
+ Stereo Mp3(only nokia S60 phone with stereo mp3 till date)
radio
+ USB port(extremely fast data transfers, about 14mb transferred to the phone in 40 seconds).
+ Well shaped keys, especially for gaming, makes them quite comfortable to use.
+ Much more RAM than the 3650 or the 6600. Makes it possible to use browsers like Opera or Netfront without any memory issues.
+ Supports much larger mmcs (upto 1gb has been tested) without any issues.
+ A very powerful loudspeaker.
Cons::
- Side-talking. U can still hear the other person quite clearly even if you tilt the phone to one side.
- Large size. Can be an issue to some people.
- Dismal battery life. With heavy mp3 and gaming, the phone fails to last thru one whole day.
- No hotswap mmc slot.
- Takes time to get used to the button locations, even for an experienced S60 user.
- only a 4k screen.

I pre-ordered this phone
and I received on the day it's released
it looks more like game console than a phone
I am really impressed it has a lot of improvements over 3650
things I like:
really loud ringtone and speakerphone
crystal clear TFT screen, fully readable under light and darkness
excellent reception, and better than 3650 (the antenna is a bar, not the "traces" inside 3650)
mp3 player and FM radio
real voice ringvoice (mp3, amr)
can transfer files in My Computer through USB
bulit-in bt, which hooks up to my pc, Tungsten T and HP 1945 without wire
the back cover is easier to open than other nokia models
thing I don't like:
in-game and realone audio quality, which is just like a phone (not a music player), and no stereo
the way to hold as a phone (though the sound quality is top-notch for a phone)
the way to swap MMC and games
USB port is used only for file transfer to MMC
bt is required to use pc suite and use the phone as a modem
can't set concurring alarm
no Secure Digital support
it is painless to connect PC and ppc, but has problem with Tungsten T, which crash the phone a lot
it is highly recommended to get bt adaptor (or your pc has bt) and handsfree headset/earphone (included)
I'd give the score of 82/100 (94/100 if the phone can provide hi-fi stereo for games and realone)

With the release of the new Nokai N-Gage, the German originating mobile phone company begins to show their power over several different markets.
The Nokia N-Gage is a pleasing surprize for most, except for the dud features, which I will now outline:
1) The Nokia N-Gage runs on Symbian OS v6.1, interface 60 - and the latest version if v7.0!
2) Only ONE game or memory card can be held at a time - in the morning you have to chose between an MP3 Player (Memory Card) or a PGD (Portable Games Device ).
3) Nokia have altered the MMC card slightly so that only Nokia cards and games will fit in.
Still testing mine, I'll post more when I'm done !
