What can I say? It is a super phone. It is superior to the 8GB because it has a card slot. the minor amount of extra display and battery life does not change the fact that the new 8GB has a big limitation without this lack of removeable memory. What were they thinking.
Anyway, the N95 is a phone that exceeds the capabilities of most owners, including the undersigned. This is compounded by Nokia's lack of good operational documentation. Most solutions for this phone are straightforward but are "discovered" by various users and the solutions are not documented by Nokia.
For the N95 there absolutely no detailed insstruction on navigation. Most would simply give up and buy a TomTom Go for navigation. I was stubborn and reading some third party forums, I found solutons (all obvious and built into the unit) going on forums such as this.
Anyway, the N95 has no competitor with a sophisticated user. If you are not a technoid and have little patience, don't buy this phone.
For me, it is the best phone on the market as of November 2007. There is nothing it cannot do once you know how to operate it.
