Where do you start when it comes to something Great!!! You start with the Treo 650!!! The Features, the Design, The EVERYTHING!!! I'm not going to kid with you there are some flaws but nothing is perfect, but the Treo comes close to perfection. The phones features are so great its hard where to begin at. Let's start with the MP3 Player is Fantastic, the only bad part is having to buy an SD Card but thats cheap(Ebay People). The clarity of the sound is great and makes it so easy to listen to music. The Web-Browser is Good, NOT the Best. The quality of the screen is so wonderful its a laptop right in your hand. The Camera on this phone is also Great, I was at a Jets Game and took really good pictures and when I showed my friends they were blown away !!! The phone also has the Great Bluetooth Feature we love so much. The battery life is great but the size might be a little too big. I LOVE the QWERTY keyboard so much, its hard to choose which is better the Treo's or the Sidekick's. Just make sure when or if you purchase this Great PDA you get two things 1. Insurance cause this phone does cost a LOT, so you dont wanna pay Regular Price AGAIN!!! and 2. The Data Plan cause you dont want a $1000 bill. Now I will breakdown its Goods amd Bads!!!!
The Bads !!!
1. Software and Games are Expensive!!!
2. Phone sometimes Freezes!!!
3. Texting/Emailing could've been better!!!
4. Rather Expensive!!!
Overall, The Treo 650 is a GREAT GREAT PDA/Phone and I give it a 10!!! You will love everything it has to offer and more. Its only problem is the money you have to dish out for everything with it, but nonetheless I give my highest honors !!!

I just got the 650 last week after deciding not to get the ever so popular IPOD. And so far, it has performed everything I expected and much more. It is a pretty big phone compare to my other phones(Motorola V600, Sony Ericsson Z600, Z500a). But the phone is very expensive and very fragile piece of equipment. I owned it for less than a week, and already I discover a small hair line crack on the case (I don't know how I got it, it is only cosmetic). And since wireless insurance such as lock/line won't cover PDA phones, it is very important to protect your 650 if you decide to get one. My philosphy is that if you are going to spend big money getting something like this, you can't go cheap by not buying good cases and other stuff that would protect the phone(kind of like buying a $250,000 car without insurance...LOL ) Feature wise, it has all the basic you would find in a Palm such as address book, email sync with your Outlook program, and touch screen. But what I am most impressed with is the way it handles media files and how the whole device is easy to use. I brought a 512SD card, and the sound quality of my MP3s on the build in speakers, well, lets just say it will silence the room. (there is a headphone outlet, but you need to get an adapter from Palm to be able to plug the head phones in because of the size difference of the plug/in) But in general, this is a great phone. If you are always on the go and want to carry less harware with you, this is one phone you gotta have.

The Treo is the PDA that added the phone. Keyboard is actually pretty useful for typing. I use the PC software to keep my calendar, phone lists, and memos up to date and sync daily. Added a 1GB memory card for storing pics. The display is actually very bright and high resolution. Best features are messaging and Versamail. Messaging allows you to send short text messages almost like an instant message. The link just stays open and you can scroll to see past text. Phone wakes up when a reply is received. Plus there is the ability to make quick notes that you can paste in addition to the editing features. Versa mail allows a dedicated link to your email address(s) from your IP(s). Nice when your on the road, you can call up and respond to your email quickly. Built-in camera is high quality and even offers movies. I really like the built-in calculator. Does business calcs as well as quick conversions. Thought I'd never leave the HP 200 at home, but the Treo has all the features you'll need. Only software missing is an expense record. But they are available for about $19 or so. There are quick keys above the board to access the phone functions quickly. Extensive use of touch screen allows finger access but you will need the built-in touch pen for pulling down menus and making selections. There is password protection so that you can store and hide critical information from prying eyes. Bigger than the new series of cell phones the Treo is just a bit thicker than a PDA but with a smaller screen. My Sprint sales person said they don't sell alot of the Treo, as most people want free or cheap phones, but if your in business and have lots of contacts and info to carry and need web access, the Treo is worth a look. I am addicted to mine.

As a former Treo 300 user - I couldn't wait to upgrade. I decided to wait for the 650 and - after one week - couldn't be more in love with it. Oh, there are a few "wishes" - but aren't there always? You'd like to have the stereo headphone adapter come free with the purchase - and depending on your wants - there are a small number of other things that would be nice. Overall, you'd be hard pressed to find a better, more complete phone. If it's your first smart phone, be advised - you really do need to take time with the user manual. It's a lot to take in - even if you're upgrading.
Beware of Cingular, though. I found the people to be quite nice - but it appears the company has too much on their hands since the merge with AT&T. So many subscribers - not enough support help, perhaps. The whole system here in Orlando was down one day this week. The person that sold me my service has been virtually nonexistent since the purchase.
You'll love the phone - enjoy it!

I have been very disappointed with my Treo.
Its easy to use (the other reviewers are right - read the manual well), has lots of useful features.
But the battery life and phone reception are as bad as it gets. I travel often for business and was assured when this came out it would be better than the Kyocera smartphone.
The key pad is also more difficult than the kyocera and the speaker phone is useless if you are in a noisy car.
Not worth the money!
