Released for AT&T, the Pantech Matrix integrates a dual-sliding double-keypad design, similar to its predecessor, the Pantech Duo smartphone. A numeric keypad slides downwards for phone dialing, while a QWERTY keyboard slides outwards from the side for convenient text messaging. A built-in 1.3-megapixel camera with zoom and self-timer captures photo and records video. Supported by AT&T's high-speed 3G HSDPA network, the Matrix can feature live video conversations with Video Share, download music over-the-air with AT&T Mobile Music, and watch streaming video content with CV. Via A-GPS technology, AT&T Navigator gives turn-by-turn directions with maps, ensuring travelers are never lost.
