Released for Verizon Wireless, the Samsung Intensity 2 is an eco-friendly phone, made partly from recycled plastic, designed with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard for convenient text messaging and social networking. As the successor to the original Intensity, the Intensity 2 offers a similar 1.3-megapixel camera with night vision, music player and Bluetooth wireless technology. Its exterior is made from recycled water bottles, 35 percent post-consumer materials, targeting a greener buyer.
