Released for T-Mobile, the Samsung Memoir combines an 8.0-megapixel camera with a Xenon flash, 16x digital zoom and five shooting modes. It offers a full touch-screen with Samsung's TouchWiz user interface for a point-and-shoot digital camera feel. Consumers can use the virtual QWERTY keypad to send text messages, chat and email. For handsfree use, the Memoir has stereo Bluetooth technology, speakerphone and voice-activated dialing. An integrated music and video player offers entertainment. The Memoir has a full HTML browser and is capable of high-speed data transfer on T-Mobile's 3G network. Widgets on the home screen allow users to customize the phone for one-touch access to favorite functions and online photo sharing sites such as flickr, Kodak Gallery, Photobucket and Snapfish.
