Ok, well I managed to get the phone before it was released to the public because I needed a damn Bluetooth phone for the Bluetooth system in my car.
I like Samsungs because they navigate pretty easily, and their designs are unique and practical. But I could do without the bugs.
Yes, the style to the phone is a bit "different" but I got used to it very quickly and like it.
The phone is a little small, but still has girth. I am just getting used to the keypad now but I was gettin' pissed off from constantly accidentally hitting END.
There is no SD card, so don’t expect to store so many songs on this phone. It allows 41.6 MB of mass storage. And well what can you store? MP3s and some pics. My friend tried to Bluetooth me something from his phone but that never works. In fact I can’t seem to transfer back and forth to the phone via Bluetooth. That is a little annoying. You need to use a data cable which is included. You can’t make your own ring tones from the MP3s so I have to say I am very displeased with that.
The speed is nice, I can send picture mails fast and they automatically download when I receive. I don’t know how to use it as a modem, so I will have to work on that. I’m not sure if it’s even capable of doing that. And the voice dictation text is so so, I have used it before but this one seems to get it all wrong 70% of the time. I might have to recalibrate it.
My other big beef is yeah, this is a powervision phone. That’s nice, but who wants to pay the additional $25 a month for that? Not I.
Overall the phone is fine, just wish it used an SD card and allow more flexibility with the usage of files, like MP3s for ring tones.
