My fiance and I both got the Samsung a650 in July 2005. The phone is one of the most user friendly phones I''ve ever had. It''s very easy to maneuver through the menu and use. The ring tones are nice and loud. I was a little disappointed that the phone has no games and no tip calculator like all of my previous phones had. Not everything about this phone is wonderful though, it has a rather nasty habit of frequently locking up. You open your phone and the screen is on but dim and the phone is unresponsive. The only way to get the phone working is to remove the battery and reinsert it. We had been wondering why our phones would be dead when we went to use them. When the phone locks up the screen stays on even when the phone is closed and drains the battery.
