The Samsung SCH-A790 (IP-A790) works on both GSM and CDMA networks, enabling users to stay connected and access data from a single device throughout the world. The SCH-A790 features voice-activated dialing, and a large 260K internal color display. In the U.S., the SCH-A790 can access MMS and has GPS E911 emergency location capability. When overseas in GSM mode, users will have access to Verizon services such as text messaging and voice mail.

Sprint today announced the introduction of its first digital quad-band phone, the Samsung IP-A790, giving multinational business customers a wireless connection to the rest of the world at simple, flat-rate pricing in supported GSM countries abroad.
